About
I’m Dávid, a backend engineer by trade, but this blog isn’t tied to one stack or language. I pick up new things quickly, and I try to widen my view as much as I can, so expect posts about whatever caught my attention lately. What I enjoy most is the part after “it works”: how it breaks, why, and what I’d do differently next time.
This blog is where I build things in public. Each post comes with the code, tagged in a GitHub repo, so you can check out the exact version I wrote about and run it yourself.
What’s here
- Building MarginCMS: a small CMS in Go, built from scratch to get back to writing code myself instead of only reviewing what AI writes. My wife builds the React frontend, so the API contract comes first.
- Who knows what comes next? I tend to follow whatever’s caught my interest, so more than one series may be running at the same time.
